L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge *Winners! -February edition

Here are the two winners of this week's L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge.   I think our definition of February ran from the traditional hearts of Valentine's day to the stark reality of what February is like right now for many people.  I loved seeing all your photos!

1) Seeking Contentment

so many things that I like about this photo; I love the fluffy heart craft, the pinks, reds & whites, and the focus field with the blur in the background.  Wonderful!

2) Aimee's Land

I love the shades of gray and white in this photo.  This is so serene, and so stark.  This is not my February, but it might be yours...

Thank you everyone for joining us!  I hope you will join up next week, when the challenge will be:

Winners! *L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge- This Moment

Thank you everyone for joining in this week, I really enjoyed seeing your photos and reading the stories that went with them.  This week's winners are:

1) My Southern, Hippie, Married, mom of four life!

this photo is beautiful, the aged hands with the very young hands...the choice of black & white, one of the comments was that this would make a beautiful painting- I agree.

2) From Doing to Being

Kim wrote about often fumbling with her camera and missing the moments, mostly getting posed shots..this day, her dogs had an unexpected bath- she missed the plunge, but captured the ending.  She wrote about remembering to be present in the moment, ending with these wise words...

"all of life is seeing the extraordinary in these everyday moments."

Congratulations, winners!

I hope you will join us on Saturday when the challenge will be...

The eyes have it...

L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge- This Moment

Welcome to the LEarning Never Stops Photo Challenge.  This week, link up to a photo that captured a moment you want to remember, it can be a special event, a milestone, an ordinary moment your heart wants to remember, a moment that captures how ordinary your ordinary is...it's really up to you.

I apologize for getting the linky up so late, I had a special day planned with Josie (we went to a cat show in San Diego- about a 2hr drive) and our special day totally knocked out any thoughts of the challenge. So very sorry, I will keep the linky open an extra day.

Linky will close 10pm MONDAY night, two winners will be chosen and displayed on Tuesday night.  Please link back to the challenge, and please visit around! :)
